Create a report without an account
The delivered Android 0.4.4 preview stores reports, photos, profile/property details, templates, signatures and imported contracts on your device. Core documentation and PDF creation work offline. Optional maps and geocoding use network services, and Google ML Kit sends its own diagnostic and usage metrics.
Choose whether to use location
Enter an address manually to avoid map and geocoding requests. Opening the map requests tiles from OpenStreetMap even without GPS permission. Address searches and selected coordinates may go to your device’s geocoding provider. GPS permission is optional and requested only when you invoke the location action. Review suggestions before saving.
Review recognized contact details
Business-card and document recognition reads the image locally using Google ML Kit. Check the suggested text before saving; only accepted fields go into your profile or property. Temporary scan copies are removed after recognition. ML Kit also sends diagnostic and usage metrics to Google. Read the privacy policy for the distinction between local image processing and SDK diagnostics.
Check photos before sharing
Original photos can contain camera metadata, including location. An annotation does not remove metadata from the original. Check both the visible content and the file you intend to send.
Delete a report
Delete the report in the app to remove its record and eligible files. Photos that may belong to another or unreadable report can be retained to avoid accidental loss. Identifiable report PDF cache copies are removed; older cache copies can be cleared separately using Android’s app cache controls.
Delete exported copies separately
PDFs saved to Downloads, a cloud drive, email or another app are separate copies. Remove them at those destinations if you no longer want to keep them. A recipient may still have a copy after you delete yours.
Before uninstalling or changing phones
Save and open the PDFs you want to keep before clearing app storage or uninstalling. Automatic Android backup and device transfer are disabled for this build. A PDF preserves a document; it is not a backup that restores an editable draft.
Get help without sending a private report
Contact support@godiak.com with the app version and a description of the issue. We cannot see your local reports. Please avoid sending addresses, identity documents or private room photos unless they are necessary for an issue you choose to discuss.
License account deletion
Request deletion of your DepKeeper license account. This does not erase reports stored on your device.
